Reminders

Each medicine has its own way of reminding. Change it in the medicine's card.

If you don't mark it

• Remind Once: one notification at the time of the dose.
• Remind Until I Mark It: every 15 minutes, up to 3 more times, until you tap Taken or Skip.
• Ring as an Alarm: rings even in Silent mode and Focus. iOS asks to allow alarms for Capsula the first time.

From the notification

A reminder has Taken and In 10 min. In 10 min reminds you once more ten minutes later and doesn't change the schedule. Notifications include the medicine name and dosage, even on the Lock Screen.

Reminders are off

If notifications are off for Capsula, Today and Settings say so, with a button to open iOS Settings. The journal works either way.

Reopen Capsula now and then

iOS keeps a limited number of reminders per app. With many medicines, Capsula schedules the nearest ones and shows the date to reopen the app before. Opening the app extends the plan.
